Great place
We love this part of the region, with the river right there amazing to walk along any time of the day. The host was responsive to answer questions.
The pellet stove replaced by a gas fireplace. The place was warm and inviting. We cooked a thanksgiving dinner and the place is well equipped. We look forward to returning!

Location is great!
The river and location were great! We saw a deer and a black bear. The upstairs could use some shades/blinds/fans to keep out the heat. We had a nice stay. Thank you

Very clean but poor heating and no privacy
Upon first sight, A beautiful welcoming sign and a clean modern cabin feel. We were overjoyed with the idea that this stay was pet friendly. Only to see a sign upon arrival that animals were not allowed upstairs in the bedroom areas. I understand they requested no claws on new carpet but don’t advertised as pet friendly, charge a higher fee for it and not allow full access to the space. You try keeping a family pet away from its loved ones in a new environment, downstairs, by itself. That doesn’t go over well. There was no gate to separate the spaces either so to follow the rules asked of us, we had to pile chairs in front of the stairs which in turn caused a major fire hazard.
We then where hit with the nuisance of trying to keep the place warm. My husband spent a good 2 hours trying to fix the pellet stove so we wouldn’t freeze. I ended up emailing the host only to be told “yeah, it’s old and finicky and hard to handle sometimes” With no clear directions as to keeping the stove on, it was suggested to us by the host to use the secondary heat but by that time we had wasted a good portion of our evening, not relaxing and cold.
When we went to tuck in for the night. Our beautiful bedrooms had no windows treatments or blinds. Zero privacy. Not even in the bathrooms. We were fish in a bowl. With neighbors on both sides of us and the sunlight shining through at the crack of dawn, we did not have a restful nor romantic sleep.
Overall, these major inconveniences made for a stressful stay and not at all enjoyable.

Adorable house
The listing actually undersells this adorable little house. Great for a family with everything you need to relax after a vacation day or before an early morning running up Mount Washington.
Two bed rooms and a bunk bed with trundle in the upstairs hall. 1.5 bathrooms, a great fire pit, and lots of firewood.
Very dog friendly with food bowls, poop bags, and lint rolls for ticks.
Good to know
